Who is INSIG?
INSIG is a professional body of the Australian Nursing Federation (ANF Vic Branch) that was established in 2004 to support Nurses working in Immunisation Practice. INSIG aims to provide a forum that facilitates communication, discussion and encourages professional development for immunisation nurses in the State of Victoria.

Membership benefits
Financial members will have access to a range of resources that can be found in the member’s only section. This section will be updated at least monthly. By becoming a member, you will be tapping into an invaluable resource that is designed and expected to grow in the future.

Please note The National Shingles Vaccination Program will commence from 1 November 2016.
People eligible to receive the free shingles vaccine include people aged 70 years of age as an ongoing program, People aged 71-79 years of age as a catch-up program until 31 October 2021

The next CVU will be held on Monday 5th December 2016 from 8.30am to 3:00pm at The SPOT in Carlton (part of University of Melbourne). The Clinical Vaccinology Update (CVU) is an opportunity for immunisation providers & interested healthcare professionals, to meet and discuss new vaccines, vaccine preventable disease epidemiology and vaccine safety. All INSIG members are invited to attend our next meeting on Thurs September 1 st, at ANMF House. Level 7, 540 Elizabeth St. Melbourne. We will have Belinda Clark (ANMF) presenting on issues relating to pharmacists performing some immunisation services and a speaker from Seqirus to present the vaccine Zovirax.
